"It was a dark and stormy night..."

Scrooge at the Manger.   This was a re-working of a script called "A Christmas Carol in Bethlehem" that we wanted to do for our church Christmas program last year.  The original script was just awful - cheese and bad writing abounded, so I went to work on it. The songs that are listed are the accompaniment tracks that came with the program, and it was those tracks that the director wanted (I had other ideas for that too that got squashed). She also decided the script I came up with was too dark and too hard to memorize for key cast members, so some of the cheese and bad writing got returned to it, and a good chunk cut out. This script is what it was supposed to be!
